VFA on NPR: Jason Forrester, VFA Director of Policy, To Speak on Seattle's KUOW

Nov. 10, 2008
Seattle's NPR station is taking an early opportunity to discuss veterans health issues on Monday, one day ahead of Veterans Day, and will feature a discussion with Jason Forrester, Veterans For America's policy director, as well as representatives from the Washington State and federal VA systems.

The show Weekday, on KUOW 94.9 Public Radio, will include questions about benefits and services available to our veterans as well as a discussion about the great needs that remain unmet for our troops, their families and communities.

The program is scheduled to begin 10 a.m. Seattle time (1 p.m. D.C. time) on Monday, Nov. 10. To listen to the live webcast, visit: http://www.kuow.org/.

VFA continues working on behalf of our troops and their families, who are strained beyond all precedent by current deployment policies. Their sacrifices merit our gratitude and deserve to be made whole again. Nothing less than the health of our brave troops and our readiness to defend against attacks and home and abroad is at stake.
